Engineered Brass Company is dedicated to providing high quality brass, cast iron and stainless steel products to the commercial plumbing industry.  Our high quality drains, p-traps, and supplies are designed and manufactured to meet rigid commercial specifications.

Commercial product specifications have traditionally called for P-traps and drains with cast brass slip nuts.  Commodity grade, zinc die-cast slip nuts can lead to dissimilar metal corrosion.  Heavy use environments are best served by the cast brass slip nuts supplied with EBC p-traps, wastes, and commercial drains.

Additionally, EBC uses brass stems in its complete line of heavy duty and competitive supply stops.  This includes wheel handle as well as loose key configurations.

All heavy duty stops use brass screws to secure the seat washer to the stem.  In recognition of higher water pressure in the systems using rigid supplies, we ship all IPS x IPS supply stops standard with an additional stuffing box.
